This is an area which is becoming increasingly popular as more people take up running and want some practical advice on how to improve their performance.
Our training weekends are offered to tie in with the main race seasons of April/May & October. They are aimed at all levels and we try to offer a range of camps to appeal not only to our Ultra Marathon & Marathon competitors but also to those contemplating running a distance for the first time, whether 10k, half marathon or marathon.
The Zest training camps will be set in countryside hotels/hostels and our aim is to split the weekend into group and individual activity sessions, interspersed with seminars from experts covering areas such as training methods, pacing, diet & nutrition and strength & conditioning. We will also give you advice on which running shoes are best suited to you and your individual running style. All our experts will give valuable insight into how to improve your technique to complete your preferred distance. It's also a social weekend giving you the chance to meet others in a similar position and share plans & experiences.
